We are a small and friendly independent ABTA and ATOL bonded travel agency specialising in, you guessed it, luxury worldwide holidays!

After many years working in travel call centres Nicola Grimshaw, owner and manager, because disillusioned with the poor levels of service and product knowledge, in the industry and decided to set up her own agency.  In 2004 I-OTA, the Independent Online Travel Agency, was 'born' as part of the Freedom Travel Group (a division of United Co-operatives).

In 2006 luxuryworldwideholidays.co.uk was launched as part of I-OTA and has since become so successful we eventually stopped using the name I-OTA as Luxury Worldwide Holidays more accurately describes what we offer (although many of our customers have stayed with us).

We recently left the Freedom Travel Group to become part of holidaysplease.co.uk, who also specialise in luxury holidays.  Holidays Please are part of the Hays Independence Group, the largest independently owned travel agency in the UK.  So although we are a small company, we have access to the excellent commercial deals offered to the Hays group of companies.

We are agents for a wide variety of luxury and destination specialist tour operators and suppliers.  We much prefer to do business with AITO (Association of Independent Tour Operators) members who hold similar values to ourselves.  However, we are also agents for the larger mainstream (vertically integrated) tour operators such as Thomson and Thomas Cook and whilst they may not always be able to offer  flexibility in terms of tailor made travel (or the service) sometimes their special offers are too good too miss!
